Alright, last update before I finish it up.
From the last update I worked on the vegetation a little more, added the rocks in the creek with watercolor, and used some white acrylic paint to add slight reflection and glare. Not a lot of reflection here as it’s mostly in the shade, but may add some more to push those details.
Laid down a base coat (hurr) of fur on the wolf-dog using watercolor. Will go in to work in the details on the body and face next. After that a couple touch-ups and it should be pretty much done =]
Pic was taken on my phone again (It’s just so easy! lol) so it’s a little blurry, but you’ll get good photos for the final
I’ll go ahead and post some WIP of this watercolor/acrylic painting I’ve been slowly working on.
9x12 inches
![Here’s the other one. I wish I could figure out how to show the full sized image here so you can read it on Tumblr.
They’re kind of old and I should probably re-do them, but anyways a simple wing tutorial I did up a while ago =]](http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m4nhpe6CFT1qmnr0vo1_500.jpg)
![Figured I’d upload these here since they seem to be helpful. They’re kind of old and I should probably re-do them, but anyways some simple wing tutorials I did up a while ago =]](http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m4nhhnj0pR1qmnr0vo1_r1_500.jpg)
![At this point a little left to do on the vegetation then on to the water and rocks at the bottom there =]
Starting to use more acrylic paint to push the contrast and vibrant colors.
This photo was taken on my phone so it’s not the greatest, sorry about that x]](http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m4b4t3rgG51qmnr0vo1_500.jpg)
